Shiitake is a fungus brought from the Far East, widely used in traditional medicine in Japan, China and Korea where, it occupies one of the first places due to the presence of important component called AHCC (Active hexose Correlated Compound).
Shiitake operates on six types of immune cells, able to defeat practically any infectious disease or tumor. This fungus is one of the few remedies that activates NK cells (Natural Killer cells) that, as the name shows, are very efficient, being the first line of defense against HIV / AIDS, against cancer, against benign cysts, fibroids, adenomas) against herpes or papilloma virus infection.
A cure with Shiitake takes 3-4 weeks, followed by 10 days of rest, after which treatment can resume.
Other benefits of shiitake mushroom:
Similar to Cordyceps mushrooms, Agaricus, Reishi, Maitake and Chaga, shiitake mushroom is an effective weapon for fighting cancer.
But what Shiitake has in addition to the others is its ability to fight highly resistant viruses such as HIV and Hepatitis B or C. Tests conducted in Japan have shown that shiitake extract is more effective than AZT against human immunodeficiency virus.
Hepatitis is a liver disease. Since 1980 several tests conducted in 16 clinics in Japan have investigated the effectiveness of shiitake mushroom in Hepatitis B and C. 40 individuals with chronic hepatitis B were enrolled and received 6 grams of shiitake for 4 months. All patients experienced resolution of the symptoms of Hepatitis B virus and 15 of them were inactivated.
Excess liver toxins lead among others to its inability to process fats resulting in depositing fat between the liver cells, a condition called hepatic steatosis (fatty liver).
Shiitake helps to gradually eliminate fat accumulated in the liver.

Research on Shiitake mushrooms began in 1970’s to test its effect on cholesterol. In a report published in “Herbs for Health, Jan / February 1997 Shiitake mushroom was found to have the effect of reducing total cholesterol.
In 1969, researchers at the National Research Center in Tokyo succeeded in isolating from Shiitake a polysaccharide called ‘lentianan’. In tests performed on laboratory guinea pigs, this component caused regression to disappear tumors. This effect was attributed to Shiitake’s ability to stimulate the immune system and direct it against tumor cells.
