Pancreatin is a combination of enzymes produced by the exocrine cells of the pancreas. It consists of the enzymes amylase, lipase and protease. This combination is used to treat conditions such as: pancreactomia (removal of the pancreas), pancreatitis, cystic fibrosis.

There is clinical evidence that pancreatin has a beneficial role in other diseases such as:

• food allergies;
• celiac disease;
• autoimmune diseases;
• cancer;

There are clinics in the United States that associate pancreatin in anti-cancer protocols.

Pancreatin in diabetic disease

According to recent research conducted at the University Hospital Giessen and Marburg in Germany, pancreatic insufficiency plays an important role in the onset and evolution of both insulin-dependent diabetes and insulin-independent. Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency is frequently associated with diabetic disease.

For a long time it was thought that this failure is a consequence of diabetes. But recent clinical observations conclude that the exocrine pancreatic disease (non-endocrine) is actually a critical factor in the emergence and development of diabetes.

Recommended way of use (only for adults): 1 capsule 1-3 times daily.

Cautions

• To avoid duplication of treatment, consult your doctor before use if you are under medication for: exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, diabetes, pancreatitis, cystic fibrosis if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Rare side effects include: nausea, abdominal pain, vomiting.
• In case of nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain / stomach pain or stomach burns, stop taking the supplement.
